The timber's bright – the timber's orange

After a winter in the Far East and the Middle East, RIM moved back into Europe with the European Tour at the Spanish Open in Seville.

RIM designed and built a 35m x 20m substructure to support GL Owen Browns brand new double deck marquee. After the tournament, Willy Irish, RIM's Joint Managing Director, was as pleased as the tournament winner, Alvaro Quirós. Referring to the quality and detail of his team's work and particularly their finishing touches, he explained. "Working with GL Owen Brown is always a pleasure, especially so in such a fantastic environment at the European Tour's premier Spanish tournament. As always, our team showed pride in their task and an attention to detail that means so much to our customers. Being a self confessed scaffold "anorak", I was really impressed with the superior timber cladding finish of the substructure and the double deck external staircase that became a main feature – it really looked superb in the sunshine in the Spanish Open Orange."
