The Open at St Andrews

When the final putt drops in the cup at this year's The Open at St Andrews, the silence will be replaced by adulation and applause from fans around the green. By then these fans, and thousands of others, will have enjoyed the work and skill of the golfers and, unbeknown to them, the work and skill of the RIM Events team. For the second year running RIM Events have erected (and will dismantle) 22,500 seats, as well as the main scoreboards.

In addition to aiding the enjoyment of the on-course fans, RIM Events will be contributing to the enjoyment of millions of golf fans around the world, as they have supplied and erected over 35 Camera and media platforms for SIS Outside Broadcasting, as part of their 3 year live golf contract.

Willy Irish, RIM's joint Managing Director, simply explained. "This contract is a testament to the hard work put in last year by the our team and once again shows the versatility of our company."
